How Bad Institutional Support Cost Douglas Prasher a Nobel Prize
Maggie Delano

Sheesh, hundreds of words about why Douglas Prasher didn’t receive the Nobel, but not a single word about the subject of his research. Worse yet, unless my Eighth Grade English has deserted me the last sentence “ Four years after Prasher failed to receive the prize, he restarted his research career at UCSD as a staff research associate in one of the Nobel Prize recipients, Roger Tsien.” is not even a complete sentence. How does an article like this get picked up by Medium’s editors?
