I believe it can be summed up quite simply — no matter how you define intelligence, it is ultimately the ability to solve some problem a human wants solved ….. so how does a machine, super AI or not, know what problems humans have?

As far as I see it, AI will never be a threat to human intelligence unless we collectively give up our “will” — our wishes & dreams — and we allow a machine to decide for itself which problems it “thinks” need solving…. which means the machine must then also have wishes & dreams!
