Great article. I my opinion Evangelical Christians have lost all credibility. They have traded their values for a fleeting moment of power. Christians are a swiftly dwindling demographic within America’s religious landscape, a new study from the Pew Research Center shows.

About two-thirds of U.S. adults (65%) identify as Christian, a share that has plummeted by 12 percentage points over the last decade, according to Pew’s surveys. On the other hand, the religiously unaffiliated now constitute over a quarter of the adult population (26%), up from 17% in 2009.

The Republicans turned to Christianity for votes, in a effort to counter the democratic stronghold in unions. At the same time systematically destroying the union base of American workers. Republican attempts to ‘christianize’ American culture backfired― by turning a whole generation of Americans away from Christianity.

Pew reports that today only about half of millennials (49%) identify as Christian, while 4 in 10 are religious “nones.” Good luck trying to find a millennial who believes Trump’s line of BS.

There is a price to pay for selling out your values for political power.
