Hmm… Corporate Media Now Turning On Antifa As Police Militarization Increases
Caitlin Johnstone

Caitlin, it may be even deeper. During the 1960s the FBI’s “cointelpro” program infiltrated dozens of “radical” groups and others that Director J. Edgar Hoover did not like, including Dr. Martin Luther King’s civil rights movement, the KKK, the American Nazi Party, the Black Panthers, the Nation of Islam, pro-Peace groups, Mafia and other organized crime gangs, the Communist Party USA, etc….usually these paid “infiltrators” just spied and reported back, but sometimes they took active roles as “provocateurs” to discredit targeted organizations. The CIA has been doing this for decades, under orders from the President of the United States. I would not be at all surprised if some of the violent “anti-fa” folks are paid provocateurs sent in to discredit progressive movements like Occupy, which I was very much part of in Freedom Plaza, Washington, DC. Our leaders — one is a female pediatrician, the other an attorney, both very nice people — had excellent relations with the DC government and police, and we had NO violence or problems at all during the first few months, but toward the end, some of the black-clad agitators showed up at the other Occupy DC location and started causing trouble.
