The One Most Important Thing A Teenager Can do
The Most Important Thing a Teenager Can Do
The most important thing a teenager
can do is prepare for life.
I was at a gathering of young senior citizens a while back and as often happens we began discussing the ills of the world and the plight many of our young people, especially girls, find themselves, seventeen, pregnant and no father to be found.
I made the comment that if young people want to increase their chances of having a successful, happy life the most important thing they can do is to follow a path to adulthood and marriage.
Simply, they need to finish their education, whether it be high school, trade school, community college or get a degree at a four-year college.
Wisdom lost through the ages, common sense is no longer common.
The next step is to get a job, then once their financial path is determined, find a life mate , get married and then plan on having children.
You could have heard a pin drop. I would have been better received if I had said aliens had just landed on the beach.
How did we, as a country get so far off course? This should just be basic common sense.
It isn’t rocket science to understand why so many young kids get off to a rocky start in life when they make bad choices at so young an age.
