Are Chat Bots a Feature or a Product?

Slack has led the way being the “Terminal Line” of the 21st century for everyone.

However I do think its useful but the analogy I draw would be the routing system when you call the Bank or an Insurance company. Which department or action you want to execute. At the end of the day, my need typically cannot be narrow down to one simple action, there is a big story of confusion behind why I wanted to call the Bank in the first place!

I see the chat bot as an extension to Search rather than the primary UI UX. It will help me conduct some lookups but when it comes to manipulating data, I need a different UI.
