8 lesson to learn from football: football motivation

Football has grown to become a multimillion-dollar industry. football motivation is worth learning

It has proven that it can be a source of livelihood.

Back in the days when parent s do not see anything good about becoming a professional athlete and would rather convince their children to seek other professions.

However, reverse is the case children are watched closely to see if they had any talent in football (or other sport) that need to be develop. Parents nowadays buy training kits for their kids such as jerseys, boots etc.

An interesting aspect of football is that most of the professionals have not attended university. However, earn more money more than the college graduates do.

Participation,

In other to become a professional athlete, physical and mental wellness, and high level of participation, skills, and knowledge of the game, training and readiness to give 100-percent effort are a necessity.

I watch football a lot.

My favourable football club is Manchester city fc of England. Anytime I watch my favourite club play then it occurred to me that there is more to football than just the game.

in every game you will notice that

  1. There are two competing teams. Its obvious
  2. There is a officials controlling how the game goes
  3. There are coaches for both teams
  4. In other for victory to come to either team they must have played better even thought not in all cases some are considered lucky to win
  5. There is trophy that both teams are struggling to get
  6. There are spectators that are hundred times more than those that are playing the game who pay from their income just to come and watch their favourite club play
  7. The game has rules that every participant must obey in other to play it
  8. Among the players their ore those that are highly rated while others are not
  9. There those that are exceptionally skill and are awarded world best player, best goalie and the like
  10. Team work

The lessons in no particular order

#1 Life is about competition

This is a fact whether you agree to work with it or not. In this life always, someone somewhere is working to outwit you. You have to play your cards well if not you will be the user.

People have different skills some are similar while others are completely different. People that you have the same type of skill are also competing for that same work that you are trying to get if you are smart then you got the work and others will have to look elsewhere.

In Nigeria, over 30 job seekers were trample to death when they went to look for work with Nigeria’s immigration service.

#2 There are people controlling the game of life.

In this life, you don’t do what you like at the detriment of others. When your actions are injurious to others there are societal agents that will control the extent to which you do some things.

You cannot commit a foul during playing game and you expect the referee to let get away with it. When you cheat, you will be are sanctioned in extreme case you are sent out of the field.

If become wealthy in a illegal way, be rest assured that one day you will be caught and you stand the chance of going to jail. If you love cutting corners you need to think twice.

#3 You need someone to hold your hand.

Just as in soccer, you need a coach to teach you how to play the game very well so also in your life you need a coach. Someone willing to teach you the right way to go. Someone whose life is worthy of emulation a mentor. The role of mentorship cannot be overemphasised.

What you want to be, where you want to go, someone has been there before so it will be wise enough to tap into his or her experience to make your journey stress free. Avoiding the mistakes, they have done.

#4 Excellences rewards

If you have to make it in life then, you must be ready to give the best you have. You must go an extra mile when others are asleep you must be awake. Mediocrity is a form of limitation. When you limit yourself, you cannot get the desire result. However if you are excellent in that thing that you do in the long run it pays off.

Holley Gerth wrote in a post on her website perfection and excellence ‘Yes, we desperately want more grace and freedom in our lives. But we also have this fear that if we let ourselves off the hook, everything will just go to pieces. We won’t do a good job anymore. Our parenting will be halfhearted. Our work will be shabby. Our house will get a visit from the health inspector. So let’s get this clear right up front:

not being perfect doesn’t mean you don’t work hard and try to do well

remember .in our nature we are limited however that thing worth doing is worth doing well.

She went on to say “But we’re also not told, “Whatever you do, do it perfectly.” Working “with all your heart” simply means being intentional about what we do and doing it out of love. Pursuing excellence leads to joy and satisfaction. Pursuing perfection leads to burnout and frustration.”

Excellence is simply doing what you can, with what you have, where you are, as you are.

#5 life rewards

at the end of every match there is a reward. A trophy, a medal, or recognition.

When you do what you do well you will be rewarded for it.

Its either you are an actor or spectator

There is a singular reason that people differ in terms of wealth and success in all ramification, which is participation.

People who active partake in anything that is worth doing get the best of rewards and leave the crumbs to others.

An aphorism goes “the patient dog eats the fattest bone” very true however, who eats the flesh.

people who often use this they do because they want to give room for their laziness and say the patient dog eats the fattest dog.

They refuse to do what is suppose of them they will rather wait for others to do everything before they go to tap from it.

The game of football usually has a lot of spectators that pay to come and watch others play.

When you do what you do well people will pay to come and see you do it.

#6 Rules govern life

The game of life has rules that you must play by it .

Some rules seem insignificant that we tend to overlook however when they are broken severe consequence.

For instance, lying may seem very ordinary but the consequence there after is not good.

#7 team work is key to success

No man is an island.

We need others to get to our ultimate goal. In any sport there must be a team. Innocent Usar said this about team work “when you run alone you run faster, but if you run with others you go further”

Which one would you chose? To run alone or run with others?

There is a extent to which our effort can carry us but if we working with others we safe much energy and do more.

Another advantage of teamwork put forward by reference.com

  • For output quality,
  • Retention and

Efficiency is increased dramatically by employing teamwork instead of working solo. Frederick Brook’s “The Mythical Man-Month” argues that it takes one person 1 year to do what 12 people can do in one month.

#8 Everybody has a different role to play

In the field of play, everybody plays different but complimentary roles.

The major reason that unemployment is very high is that most people want to do what everybody is doing neglecting individual uniqueness and talents.

Our talents when discovered have the capability to employ us for life.

Conclusion

Next time you watch your favourite team play remember that there is more to just watching learn the lesson apply them. Successful people are the open minded who are always ready to learn new things.

What are other lessons we can learn that are not mentioned?
