Beyond the Pulpit: Exploring America’s Cultural Legacy and Civil Rights Landmarks

Americans excel at exporting their culture, and why wouldn’t they? We’re talking about a country that prides itself on being the protector of democracy, the birthplace of civil liberties, the land of the free, and the place where all dreams become reality, allegedly.

If you’re a pioneer in screenplays, like in the job Hollywood is doing, there isn’t anything you can’t dramatize, even when you aren’t the best candidate for the job.

As the Americans say, “fake it till you make it,” right? Well, they try, even though race issues and race-related maltreatment simmer through 2023 to 2024.

Throughout high school, as a social science student, I would listen to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s speeches on repeat and think to myself, “These are some powerful words.” Dr. King’s speeches are legendary, and their impact and meaning continue to be debated to this day.
