Yesterday, I had the pleasure to moderate one of our tech round table discussions with Engineering & Product Leaders from London. For all of you that couldn’t make it, this blog post summarizes what we discussed!

We started the round table by referring to a talk given by Brian Zotter, VP of Product Engineering at Medium, at the Elevate conference in 2019. He talks about what makes a high-performing Engineering Team. You can find it here.

What is a high-performing engineering team?

Brian defines it as a team which focuses on

Maximizing long-term, sustainable velocity

Here, “Velocity” is defined as the value delivered to customers over…

Revenue, funding and more…

It’s been almost 3 years since we started Indorse, and 2 years since we completed our token sale! In 2019, we accomplished a number of achievements, from closing a funding round to working with new large Enterprise clients who love our product! Over the course of 2019 our central focus was on revenue growth and ensuring that the Indorse business model is sustainable and scalable.

The core of Indorse has always been its Expert Community (i.e. our Validators) who spend their time and resources assessing and validating the code submitted by candidates.

Some highlights & key numbers regarding our Expert Community for 2019

Yes, you read that right! In this article, we are going to present the insights we have gathered from looking at more than 4500 code reviews.

And the best part — the reviews were made by more than one hundred expert developers spread around the globe and having 1 common goal: review the coding skills of other developers!

But first, let us put these numbers into context:

2018 has indeed been a great year for Indorse! We did not just deliver a working product on the mainnet, but also did one more iteration on that for second layer scalability and also got our first few customers who are already trialing out the product. Through the tumult of market euphoria towards the beginning of the year and the impending “long winter” for crypto towards the end, Indorse has never wavered from its promise of delivering a solid and working product. …

Finally, almost one year after we started serious development on Indorse, and now that our product is in a good enough shape, our team has started going out in the mainstream market with confidence. We have started getting a few SMEs from Singapore to use the platform and send their candidates to us for validations!

Last week, when we were presenting about Indorse to investors/technologists in London, one of the people from the audience actually gave a good feedback after hearing all our progress in the last year or so —

Hey Validators!

Let’s face it… you guys have been doing an awesome job on the Indorse platform! You guys are one of our most highly engaged and dedicated community of users, and we feel that it is our responsibility towards you, to make your life as easy as possible.

With that in mind, one of the co-founders of Indorse, Dipesh Sukhani, has taken up the mantle of Chief Validation Officer (just kidding!). On a serious note though, Dipesh has taken it onto himself to dedicate most of his time in order to grow and nurture our community of awesome validators…
