Vendors sending the data to opnbi using airbyte

Let’s make the connection between monday.com and opnbi using the airbyte. Here, we take personal access token from monday.com and integrate it in the airbyte using source to the destination then we add that Datasource connection into the opnbi to fetch the data.

Now, here we have some questions about the connection, 1. does that work only once or 2. do we need to make the connection for every new monday.com user. Basically, we need to make the connection only once in airbyte but if we find any change between one user to another user on monday.com then we need to make a separate connection or just change the ‘Personal Access Token’ in airbyte.

Connection Overview

We connect the monday.com with the opnbi using the airbyte, where we take the data from monday.com and can make the reports and dashboards in opnbi.

Here airbyte provides the active synchronization of data from monday.com to opnbi. the synchronization can be automatic or manual as per the user’s requirements.

Advantages of using the airbyte connection between the monday.com and opnbi

  • The Airbyte Auto Sync the updates of the data from the vendor as per the selected time for example from once in 5 minutes to every 24 hours.
  • Users can sync the data manually every time they update on the vendor.
  • User can add a prefix to streamed sources.

Note

  • The Airbyte only takes the data from the Vendor and delivers it to the opnbi application.
  • The Airbyte only fetches the data, which is provided by the vendor, we can say that the vendor is responsible for all the data limitations.
  • The Vendor can have data in the format of Excel, Multi-tab Excel, CSV, CSV without headers, Delimited Text, Fixed width Text e.g., 80Bytes, Fixed position text, Log files (grok patterns), EDI, Avro, Parquet, JSON, JSONL, XML, OCR.
