Hi Matt , Great informative article on Brain Fog . I myself suffered from it for many years without realising . With change in lifestyle , food habits and right supplements , I feel I am born again. I agree with most of the items t you have mentioned , although some of them don’t apply in my case (as you mentioned). In my case Vitamin D & A deficiency , played a big role. B12 was also a big factor . Also Big factor causing brain fog was Gluten and I suspect that it should be number 1 checkpoint for everyone , who is not performing optimally. I have not gone paleo or low carb , but avoiding gluten has made a big difference in my life . I still keep experimenting with lifestyle , because you never know how better your brain can be.

Media is full of chronic health issues like heart diseases , diabetes , Blood pressure , but hardly any attention is given to mental health issues (brain fog , anxiety disorders ). When I look at most of my colleagues, neighbours , relatives of same age (around 30) , I suspect they all are suffering from brain fog but unaware about it. I hope more and more people become aware about brain fog and not accept the low return :) . (I liked the compound interest analogy).

Thanks for writing this. Cheers !!!
