Its FA Cup time!

Its the FA Cup Third round. There is 15 minutes left for kick off. Liverpool are playing away at Exeter City. The Reds have 13 first team casualties. But here I am awake at 1 am, waiting for kick off. I’m excited and curious

I will tell you I am looking forward to this match. The fact that Liverpool have a ridiculous amount of injuries has forced Jurgen Klopp to name this team. The starting eleven goes as this;

Bogdan, Randall, Enrique, Smith, Ilori, Brannagan, Stewart, Kent, Teixeira, Sinclair, Benteke

That’s a combined total of 135 appearances for the club! The best bit of info; Jose Enrique back from the wilderness of social media has 96 of them! WOW!

We are talking of Liverpool f***ing Football Club! The most historic club in the world, playing the most historic cup in the club football with a total of 135 appearances between the starters!

Okay so we have injuries, the next two fixtures after tonight are league leaders Arsenal & arch rivals Manchester United at home. Two really big big matches. Klopp had no option but to name this side. There is every chance for an upset and the criticism will be on Klopp. But I am excited for the match. Because Klopp is going to letting the kids have a go at it. Liverpool have some exciting talent coming up through their academy. Many of them will don the Reds jersey for the senior team for the first time. They will have a point to prove. And we are going to see it tonight! Hopefully we will win.
