Fully agree. Also agree with others in the misunderstanding of agile and the continued drive to get stuff out.

But there’s also another problem, and that’s the skills shortage. There’s A lot of coders that come from a completely different professional background, bought and online coding course to learn a language, and ended up in a coding job. They don’t know any better. It’s not their fault. They don’t know what they don’t know.

You then find those that do know and have done the full training cutting corners to keep up with delivery.

Unfortunately, things often tend to go very wrong before they get better.
