The above lines best describe the love story between Iphis & Lanthe, by time we could realize it was already too late. Supreme Court had already turned on the horror of 377. 11th Dec 2013 when IPC 377 was reinstalled, it wasn’t first day but somewhere in the middle of our journey, I was not sad, neither I fealty sorry. I would had been sorry had I lost something I possessed, I could had been sorry had someone close to me lost something he/she possessed, rather I was shocked, I was angry, how could we do this? The first lesson I was taught in my life was to respect others, and today on this day 11th Dec 2013 I see it being terribly violated. I am Shocked! I am angry!
Shock and anger has been there for a while, but things have been building up in a way that magnitude keeps on increasing. We as a country have been symbol of democracy for ages to entire world, but if any part of our country, i.e. some of our own countrymen cannot express them self we cannot claim to be Democratic nation. We have a rich history and many part of our country’s history has witnessed LGBT’s important role. Even the important epics like Mahabharata have many characters which speak about LGBT community, so on what ground are we trying to declare it as a crime.

18th Nov 2013 we finally decided to build the space which would finally give LGBT their freedom to express, we knew by 11th Dec we will have more good news coming and it would be the right time for them to share their life freely, their own social community. Once they are accepted by the Government they would soon be able to socialize talk about their problem, share their problem and even help those who needs help they all could be in a social ecosystem for like minded people. Starbuck in CP, New Delhi had become our virtual office for that day, 7 coffee already consumed and still unable to find the right mix of design and functionality, well to be honest we were not even sure what the name would be evening. Challenge wasn’t to create a beautiful name or design; It was about creating a community, a virtual world for the most creative group of Human’s. Majority of Fashion Houses are run by LGBT community and Branding Gurus are from LGBT community. Thus finally Starbucks boy says “Order”, and I said “Happiness for Gay”. That’s how “Gayardor” was created!
Discrimination happens between Straights and LGBT and it’s so common that no one takes it seriously, despite knowing they share same flesh and blood, they somehow have been cornered to the edge of society. The potential is so huge, they are talented, and they are full of innovation but most of time they are termed as odd! Giving them something to connect with each others will help them to exchange ideas improvise what they think about life, and exchange of thoughts this would work as boon for society. I always thought if I could do anything to connect them all it would work as wonder and I strongly advocate any contribution from any part of society must be welcomed! While working on some Global Dating website I realized non of them have ever thought of gifting the social advantage to this special part of our Society, and this motivates me more to think about it every passing day what are we all waiting for…
Defining Love may not be an easy job for me, neither I am equipped with enough words nor do I think have had enough of it, thou I know Love would not have boundaries, considering Love as illegal would take us to stone age where we had no respect for Love. We are Humans and we all have our own way of looking at life, thus every single individual should be allowed to pick his Love as per his choice! Love is not Crime!
