Believe in yourself…

Two years ago, on this day, a stupid stakeholder complained about me to my manager. I used to put my heart and soul into my work, so the escalation came as a shock to me. I remember crying in the washroom because I knew I was good at my job.

After crying for a good five minutes, I wiped my tears and continued working. I put down my papers a few weeks after this incident, but for a different reason.

Today, I complete 18 months as a freelancer. I am doing well with God’s grace. My clients are happy (my bank account is not though), and there is so much work that I am unable to accept new projects even if I am tempted to.

To top it all, monday marks a new beginning in my life, as my client has given me a bigger role to play in his organization. I can’t thank God enough for this opportunity.

But, why am I telling you all this? Well, simple.

a) Believe in yourself. You know what you are good at, so just focus on improving it.

b) Don’t take shit from people or introspect too much about what went. Keep moving ahead!
