You seem to be a good photographer and I think you should stick to what you do best. This story you told here was not great. You had an idea in your head and you went into the rally trying to prove it. How did the guy with the bloody teeth get bloody? It looks like the cops took him down, not Trump or his supporters. What did he do wrong that the cops had to restrain him until arrest could be made?

I was there and I saw the Trump protesters screaming obscenities, even in front of children, throwing sodas on supporters, and in one case even hitting some supporters with signs and fists. I saw intimidated supporters, not vice versa. I also think your photos show that, but that isn’t the story you wanted to tell, so you didn’t tell it.

There is a big difference between being a good photographer and being a good reporter or story teller. You’re a good photographer.
