I’m a web developer and I’ve been stuck with the simplest app for the last 10 days

This is why I’m trying to stick to an tried and tested yeoman stack that as a project starter. I can then add additional routines myself without particularly many headaches. Ok, perhaps I end up with a little bloat, but at least I can get started quickly enough, and my programming knowledge gets me by when I need to bug fix and remove things.
I realise it’s important to keep up to date on all of these emerging technologies, but the ecosystem is moving so fast it’s hard to keep up. Sticking to a core stack and deviating regularly, but not too frequently, to play with, and audition new tech when time allows seems to be serving me pretty well.
