Palou Motorsport Signs Garrett Berry for Eurocup-3

London, UK — American racing driver, Garrett Berry, has signed with Palou Motorsport for his rookie entry in the 2024 Eurocup-3 championship.

Having clocked 2 wins over 4 podium finishes in the 2023 FFSA Formula 4 championship, Berry graduates into the pan-European series with flying momentum after his debut season in single-seater racing. The 2024 Eurocup-3 championship will take place at 5 current Formula 1 circuits in 6 countries with several driver entries from around the world. In the cockpit, drivers will take control of a 295bhp Alfa Romeo turbocharged engine with push-to-pass, an exclusively designed aerokit for the series with Hankook tyres. Berry’s entry in the Eurocup-3 will be a notable step up in speed, downforce and braking compared to his 2023 Formula 4 campaign, but his performance has merited his rise up the motorsport ladder.

Speaking about today’s announcement with Palou Motorsport, Berry said:

“I am very excited to become a part of the Palou Motorsport team for the 2024 Eurocup-3 Championship. During winter testing I have felt a great chemistry with the team and I have been pleased with my development in the car. I believe the knowledge and experience provided by the team and my teammates will allow us to achieve the most out of the 2024 season. It will personally be a privilege to race under the Palou Motorsport name this year and I believe we will achieve amazing results together.”

The Barcelona-based team has welcomed Berry into the squad, with comments from Team Principal, Ramon Palou, and his son and current IndyCar driver, Alex Palou:

Round 1 of the 2024 Eurocup-3 championship takes place at Spa-Francorchamps between 19–20 April. Until then, Berry and Palou Motorsport will continue with their winter testing programme in Spain, culminating with a 2-day unclassified race meeting between 2–3 March at MotorLand Aragón. This event will replicate the format of the series’ 8 classified rounds and will be an opportunity for team and driver entries in the Eurocup-3 to simulate a race weekend ahead of Round 1 in Belgium.
