This time of year
Finally warming up.
Feeling the difference in the sun and it’s rays.
Always a bit of a breeze but not a chill in the air.
Watching each day as it turns from brown to green.
The buds on the trees also coming to life.
Each and everything looking so alive and so fresh.
It is all so new.
It is like all is being given new life again.
The river flows gently, yet at times it looks like it is standing still.
The tulips.
The daphadils.
The magnolias.
Every day something new and beautiful.
I love the energy that this time delivers.
The scents and the joy.
The sounds of the birds singing and the bees buzzing.
The hummingbirds scurrying from bush to bush, flower to flower.
What has taken you so long this year to arrive?
You are finally here and everything is coming alive.
Every breath that I take brings a new scent a new feeling.
So fresh.
This to me is so pleasing for my soul.
I welcome it every year as I feel like it allows me to come more alive.
