Quickly Navigate Save Dialogue Boxes In The Mac Finder

You’re working away on your computer and you want to save your project to a specific folder. You press command-S and up pops the save dialogue box.

Rather than drilling down to the desired location, if you happen to have another Finder window open at the right spot, you can simply drag any file from that window into the save dialogue box and presto, it will update to your chosen location.

This trick works for opening a file, too.
