Child Prodigy:
A child prodigy is someone who possesses talent or understanding beyond their age bracket. A prodigy is someone who, by the age of roughly 15, displays expert proficiency or a profound grasp of the fundamentals in a field, usually only showcased by adults.
What is the Global Child Prodigy Awards?
Every child is special and unique in their own way. Each child owns an exceptional innate talent and can do wonders when they’re given the right guidance. Parental encouragement, school’s support, programs on talent development, and events on talent recognition can help in nurturing a child’s talent further.
It is observed that only 3% (6 out of 210) Child Prodigies manage to take their talent to the next level and become successful in their domain. GCP Awards aims to Recognize Child Prodigies, support them, provide them global exposure to excel in their respective domains.
Global Child Prodigy Awards (GCP Awards) is the world’s first and only child prodigy initiative that recognizes Top 100 Child Prodigies around the globe each year from various verticals. These Top 100 child prodigies also get featured in Global Child Prodigy Annual Book every year.

Global Child Prodigy Awards 2020
Global Child Prodigy Awards 2020, the world’s first initiative to honor 100 children from around forty-five countries around the globe, was recently concluded at New Delhi on January 3rd, 2020. The recognition that was sprawled across thirty different categories included Paleontology, Biking, Choreography, Fitness, Martial Arts, Art, Mathematicians, Science, Singing, Music, Enterprise, and many more.
The ceremony was graced by eminent personalities like Noble Laureate Kailash Satyarthiji, Shri Achyut Samanth, MP-Lok Sabha, Shri T H Vinayakaram, Grammy Awardee, Sonal Mansingh, Padma Vibhushan Awardee & MP-Rajya Sabha, and Prof Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman-AICTE. The guest list further includes some Padma Awardees, ministers, and members of parliament, and Dr.Kiran Bedi, Honorable Lt. Governor of Puducherry.
Addressing the gathering Shri Kailash Satyarthi said “It is an honor to award these young prodigies today. I would want to extend my congratulations to the parents of these prodigies who have supported their children. I would request the parents to not be an instructor to your children but to be a guide to them. Parents should adopt the ideology of 3Rs- Rrecognize, Respect and Reward towards their children instead of the 3I, Imposition, Instruction, and Impeach.
On the other hand, Dr. Kiran Bedi said, “Global Child Prodigy Awards is an amazing Initiative taken by Shri Abdul Ghani renowned social activist and Green man of India, and Prashant Pandey CoFounder and CEO Global Child Prodigy Awards.
