On March 3rd, a degree ceremony at Global Cyber University was held online. On the YouTube channel of Global Cyber University, a video titled “BTS cheering video (2014) and the youngest Jungkook’s acceptance speech for the “President’s Award” (March 2022)” was posted. In the video, Jungkook expressed his feelings about graduating by winning the University President’s Award.

Jungkook introduced, “I’m Jeon Jungkook BTS, a 17th grader in the Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment at Global Cyber University, where I graduate today.”

He said, “Graduation is both a period and a beginning. I feel emotional and excited at the same time, he said. “I thank the president, professors, and faculty members. Congratulations on the graduation of many students graduating with me,” he said.

In response to his acceptance speech, Jungkook said, “Thank you so much for the valuable award. I will always do my best to be a good senior who is a model for my juniors,” he said.

Jungkook also told his classmates, “Learning something is always fun and exciting. I hope we don’t miss this moment and work hard for our dreams and goals as we do now.”

Ilchi Lee, president of Global Cyber University, gave encouragement by sending letters every year while BTS members were attending. With the hope of growing into a global Hongik talent, he also sent a book titled “Global Management, Finding Answers in Hongik” as a gift to all members.

With the graduation of Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, all six of the seven members graduated from the Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment, and were named the “President’s Award” of their alma mater, Global Cyber University. The news of BTS members V and Jimin, who graduated at this time last year, became the №1 global Twitter.

Singer E’LAST’s Choi In won the Global Talent Award. Choi In worked hard as a singer and studied hard, and won the Excellence Award at the degree ceremony. Singer Choi In directly participated in the awards ceremony held at Ilji Art Hall and was awarded the “Global Talent Award” and a plaque.

Global Cyber University awards the “Global Talent Award” to people who communicated with the world through popular culture and arts and shared their talents and dreams to shine at school and Korea. The Global Talent Award, established in 2016, was received by actor Kim Min-seok, who starred in the dramas Descendants of the Sun and Doctors, and was awarded to BTS in 2017. Since then, many stars have won awards, including singer Park Jae-jung and actor Ki Do-hoon.

The Korean History and Culture Park is located at the Cheonan main campus of Global Cyber University, and it is known as a leading Korean Wave university that operates K-POP promotion “Popkon” last year at the Seoul Learning Center located in Apgujeong. It is famous as a university that has established a system to train brain utilization professionals by life cycle based on the competitiveness of brain education and culture. It is also a leading K-education university where love calls are pouring in from overseas universities at a time when the online and offline education boundaries have disappeared due to COVID-19.
