We are still polishing the agenda for the #DevFest Malaga; but we have already confirmed a few speakers that will attend on December 1st. They will teach us how they use emergent technologies and do cool things that matter with them. We encourage you to meet them in advance, and start thinking on the questions and conversations you would like to have with them. Oh, and do not forget to get your tickets this Monday!

Hadi Hariri

Developer and creator of many things OSS, Hadi is a passionate for web development and software architecture. Author of a couple of books, mentor and speaker for over 15 years; Hariri now leads the Developer Advocacy team at JetBrains. In Málaga, he will explain the basics of functional programming and how we can use it in our everyday work.

Check Hadi Hariri’s talk about Kotlin uses at the Google Developer Days Europe (2017).

Amanda Cavallaro Caruso

Amanda is a computer scientist who loves chatbots. She is also an organiser of the GDG Cloud and Women Techmakers chapters in London. For Málaga’s DevFest she will talk about inclusion within the tech industry and how to build a chatbot using Actions on Google… without a single line of code!

Nerea Luis

What is the current state of robotics nowadays? Where are those super robots they promised us? Can we live with a few drones and the Roomba? Nerea started to investigate robotics three years ago at U3CM and she will tell us how humans are collaborating with robots in something that is called Symbiotic Autonomy. Cool, uh? We can’t wait to hear everything about it.

General admission tickets go on sale this Monday!

Jorge del Casar

With 15 years of experience as front-end developer, Jorge is Head of Development at Kairós Digital Solutions and also a Google Developer Expert on web technologies. Are you interested in machine learning, assistants and chatbots? Then his talk is a perfect match: he will show us how to design, develop and distribute a conversational app using Actions on Google, Dialogflow and Cloud Functions.

Diego Rodríguez

Always on the move, Diego is a designer. He has been specially interested on building bridges between coders and designers over the years. In Malaga, he will speak about Design for non designers: 100 things that programmers always wanted to ask but never did. Do you want to know the fundamentals of design applied to the digital ecosystem?
