ANN ARBOR, MI — The Ann Arbor Chapter of Girl Develop It is pleased to announce that in less than three years, it has more than 2,000 members.
In celebrating this accomplishment, chapter co-founder Ronda Bergman states, “We are so thrilled and proud to reach the 2,000 member milestone! Our mission to empower women in tech is energized with each new member. We couldn’t have done this without the amazing support we have received from the Ann Arbor tech community including all the spectacular women and men that have volunteered and attended our events!”
Since its inception in April 2014, the Ann Arbor chapter of GDI has hosted more than 100 events ranging from multi-day programming workshops to single-day social and networking events. Upcoming events include “Introduction to Object-Oriented Cascading Stylesheets (CSS)” workshop, “Introduction to Programming” workshop, and the social event “Beer & Bytes.”
