I am baffled by the appeal of social media. I get the connection aspect, and know at least one person with grandchildren in Australia who uses it to see pictures of his distant family which seems reasonable.

If you are anything like me you’ll occasionally come across hilarious articles where people crack down on their social media usage. What typically follows is breathless woe-is-me ramble about isolation, and how they only kept Instagram, Twitter and some other thing as a form of strict rationing. But no Facebook! What a hero.

I really am an introvert though. So perhaps that is it.
