Journey to the Truth — 1
What is the definition of cruelty?
Rama killed Ravana and it is honoured all over. But to Ravana and his wife who had to spend all her life in misery as a widow, isn’t it cruelty? To Pandavas they fought for their Dharma. But to kauravas and their families, started times of endless misery. According to bhagavath geetha Krishna asked Pandavas to do their karma and to set example to coming generations. But in doing the right Karma also they had to face the consequences, as the curse of Gandhari. Got destroyed and all sons got killed. Not even Sri Krishna was spared from the curse. Krishna died seeing yadavas fight among themselves and had a lonely death. Who decides what is right and what is wrong? What brings good to someone is bad for somebody else, the law of nature. Success of a business the the failure of another one, another person going bankrupt. But can you stop doing business thinking it will stop somebody else’s daily bread? Then why this partiality towards different situations. According to me every single thought, every breeze of air, every movement is all a part of what the nature conspires to aid to it’s path of purification. There is nothing good or bad in this universe. Every thought of yours has a reason, every action has a reason, everything that happens around has a reason. And the reason is to lead the universe to purification. I believe human body is the medium to convert and send maximum amount of purified energy to the cosmos. In every death, a part of the energy goes. The remaining energy caught up in karmic cycles gets attracted to the matter, comes to another womb and has to go through the cycle again. The matter in your body could have been part of another human body centuries before. Part of the energy of your soul could have been part of another soul before. And the left behind energy got attached to you. In this larger perspective what is the point in thinking cruelty or good things. For the considered 'good' people like Rama or a lady who is going to be raped, killing is not a bad thing to do and for a man who kills someone due to personal reasons, nobody supports. Everything leads to purification of energies. Everything and every thought is good, nothing is bad, cruel, immoral or wrong.
