Debo Weekly

RC Debo had its September’s first meeting this week which was a working meeting led by the acting community service director, Abigail.
Main topics were:
* #debo
* the upcoming Recycling project

> On the #debo topic, Abigail updated the current situation about the houses and their respective budgets.
The houses that are over budget are on hold and waiting for Habesha cement sponsor for in kind donation.

> For the upcoming Recycling project of RC Debo and RC Mella, groups that contain both clubs members are formed and they are requested to announce their ideas by Sunday. The approval would be revealed on Monday. To facilitate the formation of the group, a Telegram group was opened this week for all the Rotaractors who signed up for the project. Currently there are 11 groups.

  • The Wednesday's coffee time was at country office joined by the Rotaract family to collect and prepare the donated clothes for the Addis Holiday Lunch program.

BOD meeting Agendas and Decisions

* The fundraising project is still going; bookmarks and postcards are on sale.
We can also sale on a large scales for companies too.

* The orientation and training for interact club of KMS is going to be held on Sunday Sept 9, 2018. Presentation slides are edited and ready.

* Rotaract coffee time will happen twice a year, on September to be the first.

* Joint hiking with RC Keroggie is going to be on November 25th.

* Flag exchanging with Bahri Mombasa and Parkland rotaract clubs -in kenya- happened this week and RC Parkland are looking forward to work with us.
