Why Should We All Participate In It?
The marathon has a noble cause to it — it strives to raise awareness about violence against women. Violence against women is an ugly reality of our seemingly ‘progressive’ society and manifests itself in physical, sexual, emotional and economic terms. In their own words, they want to encourage both men and women to come together and run for this cause which has serious implications on the progressive orientation of our society.
There are prizes and other benefits for participants, which makes it all the more fun. Whether you wish to go alone or in the company of friends, this event the perfect weekend adventure to grab!
Lakshya Sports Club is connected with a huge community of marathoners and a huge participation from marathoners all over the country is expected in this event.
