Upperhousee’s Sunday Brunch Will Make You Want To Wake Up On Sundays
Imagine sitting under the open sky, basking under the rays of the wintery sun, feasting on a Sunday brunch spread and sipping on some Bloody Mary or Ginger Ale ( in case you are hungover from dancing the previous night away. In my defense I have had a few such mornings). The Sunday brunch spread at Upperhousee Ludhiana promises lots of delicious grub coupled with Italian, Pan-Asian and continental recipes . Paired with their chill sky lounge vibes, it’s enough to make you want to get out of bed even after a wild night out. So one fine morning the brunch motivated Gedhi Route enough to wake up on time and make it to the brunch. Here’s my experience:
The Brunch Menu
First things first, whatever is served during the brunch is a part of their all day menu and can easily be had at any point in the day ( except for eggs) .
So when you think of a Brunch spread you’d expect to see eggs, waffles, pancakes and a whole lot of continental dishes but here’s where Upperhousee puts in a spin. They offer a spread of Pan- Asian cuisine with Thai Curry making a regular appearance. Following suit is Italian with Lasagne and various pasta variations. They have got a fantastic spin on tarts with Butter Chicken and Mushroom as the protagonists. Not to forget, the Musaka Lamb here is to die for! We would highly recommend you try their mushroom sliders with the twist they’ve put with Jalapeño and a mix of sauces; you wouldn’t even realize how many you’d chow down by the end of the brunch . Also, the pizza — yum! Though you’d have to order it, it’s not a part of the displayed spread but it is a part of the buffet package.

Cocktails are a must to keep the conversation flowing. Bloody Mary and Sangria are our favorites when it comes to pairing drinks with the brunch. They have a bunch of delicious mocktails as well. If you are a coffee lover (the cold coffee is super yum, bdw) you’d be slightly dissappointed because coffee isn’t a part of the menu and will be charged separately in case you order for it.

The ambience is so light, airy and warm. Perfect for winter. The best part is that they are kid friendly and keep holding activities to keep the kids busy. The food is delicious and helps you get rid of that hangover you have been nursing. And of course, chill time with friends and family! Not to forget the enviable sun-kissed selfies that you can take in the sun :p
