Bad Design: fridge in the kitchen

The fridge is in the middle of the kitchen so that the counter is split into two small corners. This is a bad design because most of the counters are now small and not practical for cooking. If the fridge is open the dishwasher and/or the oven cannot be opened. The fridge also doesn’t sit flush with the counters, so this causes issues accessing the corner cabinets. This could be have been improved just by moving the fridge into the corner of the kitchen.

Apartment Layout

Good Design: walk-in closet

The only saving grace for the design of my apartment is the walk-in closet this allows to store things that have no room in the rest of the apartment this closet doesn’t have built-in shelving so this allows the person moving in to added a dresser and the way the closet has a cutout allows this to fit in well.
