You Got Me

Satin fibers, they are peeling,
From this cocoon, I am reeling,
A most visible sign of healing,
You got me living out this feeling.

An epidermis left for shedding,
Fraught with disease, sickly spreading,
But as ceremonious as a wedding,
Is this horizon you got me heading.

Riesling, brie — can’t beat this pairing,
A pumping bag that I’m not sharing,
Despite the cacophony that once was blaring,
You got me fixed in my staring.
