It is a special place to exhibit the asset, offering information that emerald buyers use to take into account when purchasing this gem, and that GEMERA also has included in the quality and Value Assessment Process, a model developed by the project, along with gemologists and experts in fine emeralds, to determine the quality and value of all the emeralds.
The token holders will find in the marketplace the following information: the carat weight, the price in GEMERAs, dimensions, shape, enhancement level, origin, color, transparency and location, also the scanned certification signed by a laboratory specialized in research and certification of gemstones, mostly emeralds. Visitors can also filter the emeralds exhibition by price, tone, carat weight or shape.
Redemption
The marketplace’s main role will take place during the redemption process, which is the period (available once a year) when the token holders can redeem their GEMERAs for emeralds, by selecting the emeralds they want to redeem, transferring the tokens and processing the delivery of the gemstones.
The emeralds that can be seen at the moment at marketplace.gemera.io correspond to the first batch of emeralds already stored in Hong Kong, which backs GEMERA’s first issuance.
