Living Off of Art

Nathan Hansen holds up one of his Printed blankets. He sells these blankets are conventions around the country. This style of blanket usually sells for around $90.00 at conventions.

Nathan Hansen is a senior at Kansas State majoring in Agricultural engineering. He plans on going to grad school to become a vet be he isn't sure where he wants to go yet.

So how does someone in his field end up creating various art works related to videogames, movies, and t.v. shows.

“I grew up a huge nerd,” Hansen said, “and I really love being able to create art work and make a living off of it at the same time.”

His art work is shared throughout a variety of communities and has even been used by game developers to create new content.

“I know it’s kinda weird, but its fun and I really enjoy it and I just never feel like stopping.”
