Hi lex,

Thanks for the comment :) I feel as dyslexia is starting to become more accepted now that what it has been in the past. I’ve been very lucky and ended up in jobs where they are some what understanding of my condition, but I read a lot of blog posts from design companies who will not hire if you have a spelling mistake in your CV and not once do they consider maybe the person applying is dyslexic?

I am pretty laid back about my mistakes and make jokes about myself when it’s brought up in meetings and things, but as for interviews I always feel the need to mention I’m dyslexic so they know I’m actually not “lazy” and that’s something I shouldn’t “have” to do. This is sometimes a really big confidence knock when you feel like your not good enough because your brain works differently. Clients can also be a pain because they expect 0 mistakes but we’re only human :) we can’t help it.

I also use gramarly it saves my design life more than thank it for haha!!
