Happy Bride: How I Dumped the Wedding Industry
Sarah Schacht

This is fantastically useful, and I love that you are keeping this wonderful event within budget and within your control.

I remember going shopping for a dress with a friend who was a poor student and was having a grand total of 5 people at the wedding. She just wanted a nice dress, not white and not a wedding dress, but accidentally mentioned that it was for her wedding. I could almost see the cartoon dollar signs in the shop assistant’s eyes, and she was suddenly very helpful … and the cost went through the roof!

We ran away and kept our mouths shut at the next place and my friend left with a lovely yellow dress that suited her figure, personality and her budget! We have to stop letting this industry rip us off!
