It was a chilly night in Los Angeles, but the rooftop on 1200 Hope Street was alive with music and generous giving. FIVE: A Night for Haiti was held on February 9, 2013 and was a huge success!

The night featured an array of delicious bars ranging from desserts to coffee to even flavored water (yes, think peanut butter and jelly-flavored water). FIVE also hosted some incredible performers: singers Amy Krebs, Jenna Andrews, dancer Angela Bergamo, cellist Dolce Wang, and alternative rock band Radial who hail from Puerto Rico. The event wouldn’t be complete without our amazing hosts Marielle Jaffe and Quddus Philippe who tirelessly kept the night going and whose enthusiasm remains unmatched!

More importantly, thanks to our guests, we raised over $26,000 that will go towards building fresh water wells in Cabaret, Haiti. It’s no easy feat to raise a large amount but FIVE was an example of how by working together, we can really make a difference.
