We have written a user guide for GenesisPlayer to help you get the most out of it.

When will the tokens be sent to my wallet?

The tokens will be sent to your registered wallet by the project when their airdrop finishes. You can find the airdrop’s end date in the ‘DETAILS’ section of the specified token in your GenesisPlayer wallet. The project will be sending you the tokens directly. We will announce when they will be sent.

You will need to generate a compatible wallet address for the token and register this into the player. The user interface will explain and a red error mark will be highlighted. Exchanges may ask for you to register and put your exchange wallet address or account number into the player to receive your tokens there.

How do I get an ERC20 Wallet?

There are many different ERC20 compatible wallets that you can use. Make sure it is not linked to an exchange and you hold your private key to this wallet. Can I change my Wallet address or personal details?

You can change your wallet address in the player by going to your settings. Find this at the bottom of your GenesisPlayer wallet, clicking on your email address. You can add more wallets here too. Please note that after the data is received by a project, they will send the tokens to the wallet address we have on record at the time of the data transfer.

Will I only need to submit KYC once or do I have to submit KYC every time I watch a video project?

You will need to submit a KYC for each project that requires it. You can check which projects require a KYC through the ‘DETAILS’ section of the specified token in your GenesisPlayer wallet.

How to submit KYC?

Projects which require a KYC will send an email with instructions on how you can submit after the airdrop finishes. You can also ask in their Telegram group for more information.

I still don’t receive email verification, what can I do?

Check your spam folder, our emails sometimes find their way there.

If it’s not on your spam folder, send the verification code again. You can try this with an alternate email address as well.

If you still haven’t received the verification code, please reach out to us through our Telegram group.

How do I get a referral code?

A unique referral code is created for you every time you claim tokens. You can find the code in the ‘REFERRALS’ section of the specified token in your GenesisPlayer wallet. Here you will find the referral reward for each new signed up user account. You can share this onto your social channels from directly within the player.

Are there any banned countries which will stop me claiming?

Each project will state which countries are exempted from the airdrop. You can find this by checking the GenesisPlayer blog where we post the details about each video airdrop. Additionally, if a video airdrop has restricted specific countries, you will be able to see them listed in the description section of each video at https://cryptonow.tv/.

What does the red error sign in my wallet mean?

This means that you haven’t yet completed claiming the tokens. Make sure that you have provided the required wallet address, agreed to have your account information shared to the relevant project and to submit a KYC (only if the project requires you to).
