I was in Boston for both Hurricane Sandy, and the Marathon Bombing. The profoundness of community pride that emerged in both circumstances was unlike anything I had ever experienced as a lifelong New Englander from Vermont. I got CHILLS from reading this, because the feeling is still so memorable. Thank you for writing this.
