I have to agree with garli above, in that YNAB is not for everybody.

I think that’s a really good point, and even just today in seeing some of the responses on this article I’ve been wondering if the next step should be trying a different system. We’re thinking about it. Most of the events in this story (like the major credit card confusion) happened a while ago, and Kate HAS improved and understands YNAB better, but I don’t know, it still may not be the best solution for her.
