48. Stuff
Today I made LIVE4.
And LIVE4 makes me happy.
Now to the LIVE4. Together with Alex and Petro we’ve discussed the idea of showing that broadcast is stored in My Videos section after it is finished. I thought of showing a splash with this information and yet another offer to share the stream, while Petro offered to switch to My Videos and animate a bit to show that stream (red) goes there. So first I drew the design of My Videos with new video with stream fully uploaded and uploading:

Then I made a fancy animation .

Please note it is not looped in real life and is animated only one time when the streaming is finished, so it is not as annoying as this gif.
Petro told the animation of the bottom part will be slightly different and timing of the animation may be changed a bit too, I think.
The next big thing is a lot of empty states. I haven’t finished them yet because there is a bit of inspiration and planning needed. I think that at the morning I will come up with ideas of usable empty states and show them. We have to show empty state not just in case video wasn’t uploaded, but also if there is not internet connection and user taps My Videos or Explore tabs.
After that I remembered that story with our app almost rejected due to collecting locations and I also recalled my favourite ticket ‘Shob vsyo ponyatno’ and decided to add map to the app. I also changed the look of the screen to make a next step to the next version of the app UI. It wasn’t that good from the start…

… but the more I drew, the better it became:

Petro told me it is possible to make this thing work with the next iOS app release. That’s good. I just have to choose which one to use.
I made pictures for Anna so she could record a screencast she wanted. I tried to make them look like ads in fashion magazines, so it would be natural to discuss them using Image RAP.

I also helped Anna with composing comment threads for the screencast demonstration. At the end of the day she made a recording but haven’t finished post production yet, so it’s not yet ready to be in the cinemas ;)
