Peace Of Mind
Aura Wilming

Deeply held beliefs are incredibly powerful; which is why it requires a strong belief to inspire people to kill and die, safe in the knowledge they are doing something right.

While there are some examples of people using these beliefs for something good, in fact exploitation of belief for positive purposes may even be in the majority, it is far to easy to use this power for material gain.

Then there’s the nocebo effect. While I laud the motives of these people who want to use magic (or magick, or whatever) for a positive purpose, and it has a beneficial effect on their state of mind — what happens when it doesn’t work?
