I hope it’s true, Keith — if they are simply credulous, then eventually they might come to understand they’ve been lied to. If they genuinely don’t care about truth, nothing will change their minds.

It’s ironic though, isn’t it? People have learned to distrust everything they hear or read (from the so-called ‘biased’ ‘fake news’ ‘mainstream media’), yet at the same time, they’re prepared to accept the possibility of the most far-fetched things. We are becoming both more, and less, credulous at the same time.
