Loved this experiment! In the UK most quality newspapers moved from a broadsheet to tabloid format about 10 years ago, to try and make it easier for commuters to read them. This didn’t really have a positive impact on sales, however. In Germany, the Frankfurter Rundschau also changed to a smaller physical format — but its decline only worsened after this.
