Despite the fact that my BMW is subject to stress, it requires only consumables, the quality is always on the level. Haven’t changed anything yet, drove 10,000km, well, oil change doesn’t count.
A few words about the dynamics and maneuver. It is difficult to express what emotions — you just need to get behind the wheel of this monster, it enters turns at any speed. This is a fact — tested in practice.
So you can write endlessly about this boomer. By the way, the car in Tbilisi is respected on the roads, except for the patrol, of course))

The BMW 5-series E60 is not sold in official BMW dealerships.
I bought a BMW 5-series E60 in 2009 in the summer and sold it two years later again in the summer. Having traveled for several months, I quickly got used to it. Began to study the car, reading reviews, various forums and much more. The first thing I changed a few months later was the oil in the box, because who knows if they changed it or not, but the automatic box is a serious thing. After changing the oil and filter, the box began to switch smoother and go faster. I was pleased that you can now forget about the box. I checked the oil level in the engine, like the level was normal, but the oil had to be changed already. He spared no expense and filled the Castrol with synthetics, in the end he poured it like that, and lo and behold, the BMW 5-series E60 did not “eat” oil at all, from replacement to replacement. A year later, I changed the radiator, because the car was not local, and put a new battery. These were the two most budgetary so-called “breakdowns”. After the first year of the BMW 5-series E60, I began to like it more and more, and I was drawn to tuning. I put the full M-package, that is, bumpers, fog lights, fenders, engine protection, air ducts, all original, very expensive, but beautiful. In general, I consider the E60 a very good car, for example, comparing with the same Mercedes of the late 90s, which are all almost rusty, the E60 is simply perfect in this regard.
Advantages: beautiful design, reliability and comfort.
Cons: I don’t know what to write.
I have a 525 BMW E60, for 3 years now. I am satisfied with the car, I drove different cars, but I love the Boomer — this one is already my fourth. All have pros and cons. Noise isolation is just super — on the highway you can even hardly hear your own signal with the windows closed. BMW 5-series E60 engine — no complaints, the flow meter sensor changed at 150 thousand, nothing else, but at high speeds it requires adding oil. I asked many owners and they say at the station — this is normal, but I don’t like it: from replacement to replacement of 4 liters, this was not the case on previous models, at least for me. Consumption in the city in the summer with a “climate” is about 14, and on the highway 11–12. “Boomer” in full stuffing, besides the skin there are a lot of useful lotions, but the rain sensor is “slow-thinking”, I hardly use it, the “hodovka” is rather weak for our roads, it has already gone through everything, it goes smoothly, but it keeps the road well. So the car is worth the money. Minus one for me is oil consumption. The next car is only BMW, I’ll try the diesel version. Good luck to everyone on the road!
