Patch Property App

Design Case Study

21st Century Property Search

House hunting is tedious at the best of times. Slow responses, endless phone calls and always feeling like you’re being kept out of the loop. We’ve built a fully native mobile experience focused on the consumer that eliminates the crucial pain points of modern day property search.

Patch was previously Nest Property Search, however to avoid a lawsuit with small tech co Google, we’ve had a name change!

Colour & Typeface

We envisaged Patch boasting a warm and vibrant environment with hints of monotone for copy legibility. An array of font weights are used to highlight importance, however a single font family is being used throughout the application for consistency.

Mobile Experience

Concept. Coming to the App Store in early 2015.

From the outset, our mission was to create a seamless experience for house hunters. With an instant messaging system integrated for directly messaging agents, you can enquire about a property with just a few taps. Want to show a property to a friend? We have built a bespoke in-app chat experience for consumers to discuss homes with friends.

Trim The Fat

Alternative mobile apps in this sector carry counter-intuitive experiences.
We have trimmed the fat while adopting a clean and straightforward experience for users to effortlessly complete tasks. With Patch, only one data point is required to perform a search.

In-App Messenger

Patch boasts a custom built in messenger to allow users to share homes and chat without leaving the app. To enhance the experience of Patch, Facebook is our choice of social integration. It allows users to view their entire friends list to then select who they’d like to share properties with.

Patch Property App is coming early 2015. Sign up at PatchProperty.com to get early access.
