Max Boot insists America pursue foreign policies based on moral arguments because the policies he advances do not align with America’s interests, rather they align with Israel’s interests. It is manifestly not in America’s interests to depose the Assad regime.

Further, these moral arguments are based on two unproven premises:

  1. Russia interfered with the 2016 election on behalf of Trump.
  2. Russia has committed war crimes in Syria.

Tucker is correct in that the entire neocon establishment has been completely discredited. The only reason people like Boot get an audience is because they have allied themselves with the dying left in a desperate attempt to prevent any cooperation between the United States and Russia. They would rather start World War III than have a united counter movement to the globalist agenda.
