7 easy steps to getting started with your New Venture

Getting started is one of the feeling an entrepreneur has. It’s new, it’s fresh, the opportunities seems limitless. All we see is nothing but up. It’s a great opportunity to get things rights and I believe this post will help you just do that.

The moment you decide on what you want to do I begin looking for domain names and see whether that name is up for grabs. It sucks when you can’t find one but it’s a great time to find the uniqueness in your branding. The last thing you want is to sound like the rest. I usually get my domains from GoDaddy.com and it gives me other options and suggestions just in case I couldn’t find the right fit.
Once the domain name is confirmed, I get a hosting and tie it to the domain. I prefer to host my site on GoDaddy because it has One Click Hosting. It simple and easy was to get things moving. I usually install WordPress in my hosting as WordPress offers me the flexibility and variety that most platforms are unable to offer.

One the the installation of WordPress is complete, I get my site themes from ThemeForest.net. It’s a marketplace for designers and digital theme creators to showcase and sell their work. You can see the live demo of the theme you wish to purchase and even look at the comment section to validate whether it’s a good theme or not.
Installing your theme in WordPress is a breeze. If you aren’t that strong in how to get any of the above done. Give me a buzz and I would to help you out.

While all things digital are rolling in the back end, I start working on my logo and name card. You got to understand, this is all a part of marketing and people need information available at all times. I usually prefer designing my logo in Type as it’s easy to understand and you don’t need to be a philosopher to figure it out. You can experiment with different fonts or may be even buy your own logo from sites like GraphicRiver.net and if you have no Printers near your place Moo.com offers pretty good deals and quality cards at a good price.

This should help you going, so what have we covered so far….
