For Taloo these metrics matter, but profitability is the primary metric. Once we have the flywheel turning we will create efficiency, it’s really that simple.

Also, investors, aside form friends and family, tend to to want a SaaS company to have the product, market and model figured out before investing .. this has been my experience anyway. At that point, and we are there, we have derisked the deal so much that we will run it up without a capital raise because we simply don’t need the capital until we need the accelerant. I am VC-friendly, but Angels have largely forgotten their role in the chain. Again, my experience and a single data-point.
