After getting rid of a “Rick,” everyone breathes a sigh of relief. As if a disease was all of a sudden cured. The collective unites around this shared emotion. But that doesn’t last too long, in many cases. The new “collaboration” leads to paralysis, revealing the lack of decisiveness that led to the rise of “Rick” in the first place. It was not a cure at all, but a remission. A cancer remains.
