Announcing a User Research training program for NEAR ecosystem builders

Bear markets are not just the best environments for building, but also for gathering user feedback. When a project team doesn’t feel compelled to respond to the hype during a bull market, there is breathing space — to spend more time checking their gut-instincts, learning about users, and refining their product strategy.

When we give more thought to users and the problems we are trying to solve, we build better products.

The User Research DAO has been funded by NEAR Protocol to provide free coaching and training for those building in the NEAR ecosystem.

This program is designed to:

• Encourage teams to embrace the unknown, and feel bold enough to challenge their biases and assumptions about their users and the problem they are trying to solve.
• Empower teams with the know-how to run their own rapid, tactical and effective user research.
• Provide a supportive environment for learning, with friendly, expert help.
• Reduce the cost and time to develop products, getting to your intended (or new) destination faster and with fewer false-starts.

Builders who take part in the program will learn about:

• Defining your product’s user(s).
• User Research methods dos and don’ts.
• Recruitment and handling research participants.
• Interviewing participants and designing surveys.
• Analysing data and working with the findings.

Session 1 training:

• Finding Product Market Fit through defining your user profile and how to execute customer discovery, with an emphasis on tactical recruitment and interview guide writing.
• Dates: 13th Jan, 3rd Feb, 3rd March, 14th April (multiple time zones supported, you only need to sign up to one slot)

• Using user research findings — analysing data for insights, and informing your product/feature backlog.
